Spirax Group•Ogden, UT

About The Position

Electrical Thermal Solutions (ETS), part of Spirax Group and composed of Chromalox, Durex Industries, Vulcanic, and Thermocoax, creates electrical process heating and temperature management solutions. Chromalox develops thermal technologies for industrial heating applications. The Tool and Die Machinist sets up and operates manual and CNC machine tools—including lathes, milling machines, EDM, shapers, and grinders—to machine metal work pieces such as patterns and machine-tool or die parts according to specifications, tooling instructions, and standard charts. The role involves interpreting specifications and blueprints, selecting tooling and planning machining sequences, positioning and securing work pieces, setting machine controls and operating equipment, and checking finished work for conformance. The machinist also performs routine preventive maintenance, contributes to quality and efficiency improvements, may cross-train at different workstations, and helps maintain a clean and safe work area. Chromalox states its commitment to equal opportunity and an inclusive workplace free from discrimination and harassment.
