About The Position

Central Christian School is seeking a qualified Toddler Teacher for our licensed Early Childhood program beginning August 2026. This position is not entry-level and requires applicants to meet Oregon Department of Early Learning and Care (DELC) licensing and training requirements for toddler teachers. This role serves children approximately 12–36 months and is part of a Christ-centered school serving students from infancy through 12th grade. Toddler Teachers provide nurturing, developmentally appropriate care in a licensed toddler classroom while supporting the mission and values of Central Christian School. This position requires professional preparation, licensing compliance, and a commitment to Christian education. This position is anticipated to begin in August 2026 as part of the continued expansion of our Early Childhood program.

Requirements

  • Active enrollment in Oregon’s Central Background Registry (CBR) and in good standing
  • Current Step Designation through Oregon Registry Online (ORO)
  • Completion of required early childhood education hours for toddler teachers (approximately 275 total training hours, as required by Oregon DELC)
  • Previous experience working in a licensed toddler or early childhood care setting
  • Ability to comply with all Oregon DELC licensing requirements, including ongoing background checks and required trainings
  • Applicants must meet ALL of the following requirements to be considered.
  • This position is not an entry-level role.
