About The Position
The Learning Experience – Gainesville is seeking a dependable Toddler Teacher to support children as they develop early communication skills, independence, and social confidence through structured routines and hands-on classroom experiences. This role is ideal for educators who enjoy guiding young learners during an important stage of early development.
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Prior childcare experience required
- Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with toddlers preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead daily classroom routines for children ages 12–24 months
- Support language development and early social interaction
- Assist with diapering, meals, and rest-time transitions
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
- Implement developmentally appropriate learning activities
- Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom updates
- Collaborate with teaching team members and leadership
- Follow Virginia licensing and safety standards
