About The Position
The Learning Experience – Ramsey is seeking a dependable Toddler Teacher to support children during an important stage of early development. This role focuses on helping toddlers build communication skills, independence, and confidence through structured routines and engaging classroom activities. This position is ideal for educators who enjoy working with young learners in a nurturing and consistent early childhood environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Must meet New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
Nice To Haves
- Prior childcare experience preferred
- Experience working with toddlers a plus
- Patient, reliable, and team-oriented
Responsibilities
- Support daily classroom routines for children ages 12–24 months
- Encourage language development and social interaction through guided activities
- Assist with transitions including meals, diapering, and rest time
- Implement developmentally appropriate learning activities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom updates
- Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership
- Follow all New Jersey childcare licensing requirements and center policies
