About The Position

The TMS Technician will administer relevant treatment to patients, operate and calibrate TMS equipment, and ensure patient comfort and safety during treatment sessions. This role involves monitoring patient responses, adjusting treatment parameters, assisting with appointment scheduling, and ensuring proper paperwork is completed. The technician will also be responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing equipment, stocking supplies, and may perform limited invasive procedures within the scope of their education and training. Other duties approved by the supervisor may also be assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • One or more years of health care experience preferred
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job
  • Knowledge of standard office practices, procedures and techniques
  • Knowledge of insurance requirements, provider referrals, and prior authorizations
  • Skills in operating a computer and various software packages
  • Skills in operating a variety of office equipment
  • Skills in creating, organizing and keeping records
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Spelling, vocabulary, math and grammar skills appropriate to the level of the position
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to maintain a reliable and dependable attendance record
  • Ability to provide effective and responsive service to clinic patients in the office setting
