The Training Management Systems (TMS) Administrator is responsible for the KC-135 TMS customer experience. This role supports daily operations related to TMS customer services, internal/external user training, troubleshooting, and data configuration. Key responsibilities include system administration and data entry, as well as analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving system and user issues. The administrator also performs courseware installations and database configuration updates on CAE computers and servers, providing rapid response technical support to the Formal Training Unit (FTU) and Main Operating Bases (MOB). Requirements

  • AA/AS or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years in similar or related field
  • Must possess experience using GTIMS on an administrative basis
  • Must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance
  • Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Knowledge of Electronic Training Management Systems and flight operations in AETC/AMC preferred
  • Previous ATS or active duty flying knowledge highly desired
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents
  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and complaints
  • Ability to generate effective oral and written presentations and proposals on complex subjects

Responsibilities

  • Supports daily operations with regards to TMS customer services, internal/external user training, trouble shooting and data configuration
  • Performs system administration and system data entry
  • Analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves system and user issues
  • Performs courseware installations and database configuration updates on CAE computers and servers
  • Provides rapid response technical support to the Formal Training Unit (FTU) and Main Operating Bases (MOB)
  • Performs Learning Management System (LMS) Helpdesk duties
  • Creates, updates and manages FTU/MOB course syllabi in multiple Electronic Training Management Systems
  • Serves as liaison between KC-135 ATS program and TMS vendors
  • Performs internal and external user training, as well as new user immersion training for TMS
  • Attends required meetings and provides current TMS progress/status reports
  • Creates custom reports based on analysis of data collected in TMS
  • Coordinates with schedulers for TMS course/class syllabi implementation as required
  • Coordinates with Base Registrar and FTU/MOB Registrar as needed
  • Performs other additional duties as directed
