About The Position
This position requires the delivery and pick up of local freight and backloads.
Requirements
- MUST HAVE A VALID CDL A LICENSE.
- ONE OR MORE YEARS OF OVER THE ROAD DRIVING
- MUST BE ABLE TO PROFESSIONALLY DRIVE A TRACTOR TRAILER.
- FLEXIBILITY IN SCHEDULES OF DROP OFF AND PICK UP OF PRODUCTS TO AND FROM CUSTOMER SITES.
- ABILITY TO BACK UP TRUCK / TRACTOR TRAILER INTO DOCK AREA.
- ABILITY TO READ AND WRITE ENGLISH TO UNDERSTAND CUSTOMER ORDERS.
- ABLE TO WORK MONDAY THRU FRIDAY, WITH SOME SATURDAYS (AS REQUESTED)
- ABILITY TO COMPLETE ELD (ELECTRONIC LOG DEVICE)
Nice To Haves
- MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE A TRACTOR TRAILER (PREFERRED)
Responsibilities
- Report any maintenance issues on the vehicle for correction.
- Ensure the truck is fueled regularly.
- Maintain a safe driving record.
- Follow all DOT Regulations (Including Medical Card Renewals)
- Must be able to drive professionally and deliver freight in a timely manner according to dispatch’s requirements.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring compliance.
- Assist with Maintenance Clean up on Trailers as requested
