About The Position

Scharmach Automotive Group is seeking a qualified automotive technician for its Tacoma MINI location in Tacoma, Washington. The role offers an opportunity to work with the MINI brand in a supportive atmosphere, with competitive pay, bonuses, and cash spiffs. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Valid Washington State driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

Technical school training.
ASE certification.

Responsibilities

Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Perform diagnostic services and troubleshoot to determine repair needs.
Communicate with the parts department to obtain parts needed for repairs.
Communicate directly and efficiently with Service Advisors and Parts Advisors to complete work in a timely manner.
Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the employer’s values in all interactions.
