About The Position

The Real Estate Finance Practice Group in Winstead's Charlotte office is seeking a Title & Survey Paralegal to join their team. This role supports a dynamic real estate finance practice in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This position supports complex commercial real estate finance transactions with a primary focus on reviewing and analyzing title commitments, title exceptions, surveys, and related due diligence materials. Responsibilities also include drafting and reviewing transaction documents, assisting with closing coordination, tracking title and survey matters, and supporting attorneys throughout all phases of commercial real estate finance transactions.

Requirements

• Experience reviewing title commitments, title exceptions, surveys, and related commercial real estate due diligence materials.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously.
• Commercial real estate finance experience strongly preferred.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment.
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism while managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven practice.

Nice To Haves

• Paralegal Certificate or Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies
• Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) designation
