About The Position

The Title Specialist is responsible for managing key metrics related to a portfolio of properties delivering title and title curative activities according to investor guidelines. As the Specialist, you will maintain a case for each matter in which the specialist will be required to document the title issue and assess risk related to the company and investor and propose relevant solutions.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word

Nice To Haves

  • Aptitude for data, reporting, and analysis, desired
  • Real estate and mortgage industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor title delivery according to investor guidelines
  • Research and evaluate findings by attorneys, title companies or business partners
  • Evaluate title reports and research potential risk of title defect
  • Assist with processing and payment of invoices
  • Monitor progress of any title curative activity and keep management up to date
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
