About The Position

This role focuses on planning, advertising, and facilitating campus events to raise awareness about healthy relationships, consent, and upstander intervention. The position also involves creating social media content and print materials for campus awareness. Additionally, the role will assist the Title IX Coordinator in barrier analysis related to reporting sexual violence or harassment and may support the Student Life Office as needed.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled as a student at North Central College.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Office and social media.
• Must be willing to facilitate events to raise awareness about healthy relationships, consent, and upstander intervention.

Responsibilities

• Plan, advertise, and facilitate campus tabling events and other awareness-raising events, centered on the topics of healthy relationships, consent, and upstander intervention.
• Create content for social media to raise awareness of the above issues.
• Create flyers and other print materials for raising awareness on campus.
• Assist the Title IX Coordinator in barrier analysis (looking at what barriers might prevent students from reporting sexual violence or harassment).
• Other duties as assigned, including assisting the Student Life Office as needed.
