About The Position

Oakes Auto Group is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Title Clerk to join our dealership team. This role is responsible for processing vehicle titles, registrations, and supporting dealership accounting and compliance operations with accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate is dependable, process-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing deadlines and multiple transactions at once. Automotive dealership title experience is preferred. Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean or acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass a standard background check
  • Strong reliability and consistent attendance
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment

  • Ability to stay professional under pressure and manage multiple tasks at once
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Process titles, registrations, title transfers, and lien paperwork for new and used vehicle sales
  • Submit title documentation to DMV offices, lenders, and state agencies accurately and on time
  • Verify customer information, sales tax documentation, and deal paperwork for accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain organized title records and track outstanding title work
  • Support wholesale title processing and inventory title management
  • Resolve title discrepancies and missing documentation efficiently
  • Communicate with customers, lenders, DMV offices, and dealership staff professionally
  • Maintain accurate accounting and transaction records
  • Assist with additional accounting or administrative responsibilities as needed
