About The Position
RideNow Powersports in Tallahassee is seeking a Title Clerk to join their team. This role involves processing titles and registrations for various types of vehicles, including out-of-state transactions. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and capable of working independently to manage documentation, communicate with lenders and state agencies, and support the accounting team.
Requirements
- 1+ year of title experience (out-of-state preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time at work station
Nice To Haves
- Public notary certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Process on-road, off-road, and watercraft titles and registrations, including out-of-state transactions
- Reassign titles from trade-ins and vehicle purchases
- Manage lien payoffs and issue purchase checks for vehicle acquisitions
- Notify customers when license plates are ready, offering pick-up or mailing options
- Communicate with lenders and state agencies to resolve possible title issues
- Verify all documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Support the accounting and funding team with other duties as assigned
