About The Position
The Title I Math and Reading Interventionist provides targeted instructional support to students who need additional assistance in developing foundational literacy and numeracy skills. This role focuses on delivering evidence-based interventions, monitoring student progress, and collaborating with classroom teachers to improve academic outcomes.
Requirements
- Valid Indiana teaching license with elementary certification
Responsibilities
- Deliver small-group and one-on-one instruction in reading and math aligned with Title I program guidelines
- Assess student needs using diagnostic and progress-monitoring tools
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to support differentiated instruction
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and intervention effectiveness
- Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student growth
- Participate in professional development and data team meetings
