The Tissue Processing Technician works in a Controlled Work Area (CWA) and is responsible for: CS (Central Services) Decontaminating, cleaning, and sterilizing reusable equipment and supplies that are utilized in Production. Tissue Processing Safely and aseptically processing human tissue and cell products according to applicable SOPs, WIs, and product specifications. Depending on the product/process, the Tissue Processing Technician may utilize various tools, equipment, machinery, and chemicals.
