About The Position

Production Technician Reports to: Production Manager Reporting to the Production Supervisor, our ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes initiative, displays problem-solving and decision-making abilities, has excellent organizational skills and can maintain a positive, professional attitude in a fast paced and changing work environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience in food manufacturing and/or in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment would be considered an asset;
Previous production experience would be considered an asset;

Responsibilities

Comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) in a full-scale production environment.
Conduct programs of sampling, weighing and analysis to maintain quality standards of products.
Responsible for escalating issues to shift lead/supervisor
Responsible for general housekeeping of production area.
Responsible for completion of startup/cleaning checklists
Ensure accurate information and data are being documented throughout the day to day routine
Collaborate with shift lead/supervisor to ensure all tasks are completed for the shift
Cleaning and maintenance of production stations
Adherence to health and safety policies
Escalate quality deviations or production constraints to shift lead/supervisor
Other duties as may be required.
