About The Position

Michelin North America - MICHELIN® Fleet Solutions™ is hiring for a Commercial Tire Technician. This position operates on a night shift schedule, Sunday night through Friday morning, from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The company offers effective tire fleet solutions for various applications including transit, motor coach, refuse, and trucking fleets across the United States. While mechanical experience is preferred, comprehensive training will be provided for all necessary skills. Requirements

A valid driver's license.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Ability to perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including standing, intermittent bending, crouching, squatting, reaching, and lifting product up to 75 pounds (assistance available for weights exceeding 75 pounds).
Commitment to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner.
A High School Diploma or GED.

Mechanical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform tire-related services safely and properly to ensure customers can drive their vehicles securely.
Service commercial tires, including dismounting, mounting, and repairing.
Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout.
Inflate tires to the prescribed PSI based on load requirements.
Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including wearing proper PPE, using tire cages, and adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
Earn a TIA (Tire Industry Association) Certification.
