About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tire Technician to join our maintenance team. This position is responsible for inspecting, servicing, repairing, and replacing tires on our fleet of concrete mixer trucks, dump trucks, trailers, and company vehicles. The Tire Technician will help ensure fleet safety, maximize tire life, minimize downtime, and support daily operations. This role requires occasional regional travel to company locations and job sites using a company-provided vehicle.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus).
  • Prior experience in commercial tire service, heavy truck tire service, or fleet maintenance preferred.
  • Knowledge of tire mounting, balancing, repair procedures, and tire safety practices.
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, jacks, and tire service equipment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel regionally as needed in a company vehicle.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in outdoor and shop environments.
  • Willingness to undergo SRM's pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, repair, rotate, and replace tires on concrete mixer trucks, dump trucks, trailers, and other fleet vehicles.
  • Perform tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, flat repairs, and related tire service work.
  • Conduct tire inspections to identify wear patterns, damage, alignment concerns, and other safety issues.
  • Monitor and maintain proper tire inflation and overall tire condition across the fleet.
  • Respond to tire-related service calls at company locations and job sites as needed.
  • Document work performed, tire inventory usage, and service records accurately.
  • Maintain tire service equipment and ensure tools are used safely and properly.
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Travel regionally to company facilities and job sites using a company-provided vehicle.
  • Support the fleet maintenance team with additional duties as assigned.
