About The Position

Responsible for assisting members in selecting and purchasing tires, properly installing and repairing tires, completing tire bay documentation, and maintaining tire bay policies and procedures. The role also supports club policies and compliance, promotes a safe and positive environment, delivers service excellence, and works with the team to meet club standards and business goals. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance.

• Prior tire installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying tire sizes for their vehicles.
• Install tires, including mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing them.
• Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk and address member concerns.
• Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area.
• Merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Maintain an accurate and complete supply inventory.
• Use available special-order tire programs appropriately.
• Coordinate with the Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.
• Dispose of tires properly and fill propane tanks as needed when certified under DOT requirements.
• Comply with safety and cleanliness standards and properly use tire bay equipment.
• Maintain club policies and procedures and support compliance.
• Work in other departments as needed and perform other assigned duties.
• Deliver GOLD Member Standards and club standards, including greeting members, maintaining stocked merchandise and accurate signage, and keeping the club clean and organized.
