The U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) sustains the Army’s mission to develop, acquire, field, and sustain ground combat, tactical, and support systems throughout their lifecycle. The program focuses on ensuring operational readiness, reliability, and safety of automotive and ground support equipment critical to Army operations. Under this contract, personnel provide maintenance, repair, overhaul, and sustainment support in accordance with Army technical manuals, safety standards, and performance requirements. The Tire Repairer is responsible for inspecting, repairing, replacing, mounting, balancing, and maintaining tires and wheel assemblies on military tactical vehicles, combat systems, support equipment, trailers, and material handling equipment. This position supports vehicle readiness and mission requirements by diagnosing tire and wheel defects, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all work is completed in accordance with Army maintenance standards, technical manuals, and safety requirements. The Tire Repairer works closely with maintenance personnel to maintain fleet reliability and operational readiness. This position is contingent upon award.
