We're looking for an experienced Tire & Lube Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is confident performing tire services, preventative maintenance, and light mechanical repairs while delivering outstanding customer service.

Requirements

  • Must be over 18 years old.
  • Automotive, tire, or mechanical experience preferred.
  • Technical or vocational automotive training is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Familiarity with tire mounting, balancing, and repair equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy tires and equipment and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Candidates must be able to perform work both inside the shop and outdoors in varying weather conditions while following all company safety policies.

Responsibilities

  • Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair passenger and light truck tires.
  • Inspect tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation.
  • Recommend tire replacement and maintenance based on vehicle condition.
  • Perform TPMS service and understand wheel configurations, bolt patterns, valve stems, and tire specifications.
  • Perform oil and filter changes.
  • Inspect and top off vehicle fluids, including coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid, and power steering fluid.
  • Perform coolant, brake, and transmission fluid exchanges.
  • Replace air, cabin, and fuel filters.
  • Complete comprehensive vehicle inspections and communicate findings.
  • Perform light mechanical repairs and replacements, including brakes, suspension components, steering components, wiper blades, batteries, headlights and taillights.
  • Recognize dashboard warning indicators and identify potential maintenance concerns.
  • Greet customers professionally and understand their service needs.
  • Explain inspection findings and maintenance recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation.
  • Assist with inventory, receiving, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
