About The Position

Fox Rent A Car is seeking a hands-on Tire and Lube Technician to help keep its vehicle fleet safe and operating efficiently. The role performs routine vehicle maintenance and repairs, including oil and filter changes, tire rotation and balancing, flat repairs, battery testing and installation, brake inspection and replacement, and minor electrical work. The technician also completes repair documentation, responds to spills and accidents according to company procedures and hazardous-material regulations, and keeps the service area, tools, and equipment clean and safe. The position requires dependability, adherence to an assigned shift, and professional interaction with customers and team members. The technician may perform other duties to support business needs. Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or technical school graduate.
Valid driver's license and ability to maintain it.
Ability to prioritize tasks and complete assignments within established timeframes.
Ability to read, write, and understand printed materials such as manuals, application guides, and required paperwork.
Comfort working in varied conditions, including weather, hazardous materials, and noise.
Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

A basic set of hand tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

Change oil and oil filters; rotate and balance tires; repair flats; and test and install batteries.
Inspect and replace brakes, address minor electrical issues such as fuses, and maintain vehicles in optimal condition.
Complete and maintain required paperwork, including repair order logs.
Respond promptly to spills and accidents in accordance with company procedures and hazardous-material regulations.
Keep the service area, equipment, and tools organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards.
Follow the assigned shift and maintain dependability and punctuality.
Interact professionally and effectively with customers and team members.
Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs and objectives.
