The Tire and Battery Service Advisor is responsible for maintaining facility and sales floor safety and standards, ensuring the Tire and Battery Center (TBC) sales floor is organized, stocked, and merchandised, and presenting and maintaining merchandise presentation. They monitor the status of tire and battery orders, assist members with appointments for installation, and communicate lead time changes and order cancellations. The role involves assisting members with tire maintenance and repair services, providing expert member service and recommendations, and driving sales and service excellence in the TBC. The advisor also triages and prioritizes service workflow, demonstrates knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, and leverages technology to enhance operations. They serve as a brand advocate, develop and influence team members, and complete vehicle service requests and tests. Additionally, they operate TBC equipment properly and safely, receive, store, and dispose of merchandise and supplies, and complete and maintain documents. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for handling challenging situations professionally and empathetically. The role also includes operating hardware, processing member purchases, and assisting with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges, while complying with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity. The advisor completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with others, and adapting to change.
