This position is for a Tire and Battery Service Advisor who will be responsible for maintaining facility and sales floor safety and standards within the Tire and Battery Center (TBC). Key aspects include organizing, stocking, zoning, and merchandising the TBC sales floor, as well as monitoring and assisting members with tire and battery orders and installations. The role involves providing expert member service, making product recommendations using Sam’s Garage and product knowledge, and explaining warranties. The advisor will drive sales and service excellence by communicating the value of merchandise and services and collaborating with other associates. They will triage and prioritize service workflow in TBC service bays, demonstrating knowledge of safety protocols, industry guidelines, equipment operations, and Point-of-Sale systems. The role also involves leveraging technology for operations and engagement, serving as a brand advocate, and developing/influencing team members. The advisor will complete vehicle service requests, operate TBC equipment safely, and handle merchandise and supplies. Strong interpersonal skills are required for engaging with members and handling challenging situations. The role also includes operating cash registers, processing purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges, and complying with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
