About The Position

PK Industrial is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Timekeeper / Administrative Assistant to support our Augusta operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate employee timekeeping, maintaining personnel records, assisting with administrative functions, and providing support to field and office teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, spreadsheet proficiency, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in timekeeping, payroll support, administrative support, or a similar role preferred.
  • Strong spreadsheet skills required, including experience using Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with timekeeping software required; MobiClocks experience preferred but not required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • MobiClocks experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately record and maintain employee time and attendance data and allocate time to the appropriate job numbers daily.
  • Gather receipts and prepare weekly expense reports.
  • Collaborate with HR and Payroll to ensure accurate processing of employee time records.
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets used for labor tracking, reporting, and project administration.
  • Perform general administrative duties including filing, scanning, copying, and document management.
  • Maintain office supply inventory and coordinate purchases as needed.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and shipments.
  • Package and ship materials as required.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees and ensure employment documentation is completed in accordance with company policies.
  • Conduct PK Industrial's safety orientation for new and returning employees.
  • Assist with recruiting activities and applicant coordination as needed.
  • Support employee benefit communications, including 401(k) and annual open enrollment processes.
  • Provide training and support related to timekeeping systems and employee processes.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Greet and assist visitors, vendors, and customers in a professional manner.
  • Travel to other company locations or project sites as needed to support business operations.
