This key leadership role within the Western Timberlands Marketing organization reports to the Director of Marketing and is responsible for leading and managing the Washington Marketing Team. The team is accountable for all log sales and log purchasing activities across Washington. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for log sales, log procurement, and customer relationships across a diverse portfolio. You will partner closely with operations, mills, and cross-functional leaders to align supply, demand, and pricing strategies while meeting internal and external customer needs. Success in this role requires strong leadership, clear and concise communication, and the ability to collaborate and influence across the organization. The scope of this role includes overseeing all the log sales for the roughly 1.3 million acres of timberlands that we operate across our Lower Columbia and North Washington regions AND oversees the procurement of approximately 150-200 loads/day of logs to supply our Longview & Olympia export yards and our Longview and Raymond sawmills. We believe trees are a remarkable resource that can and should be managed responsibly to make a range of products that meet human needs, while also providing recreation, wildlife habitat, and other important ecosystem benefits.
