About The Position
Maintain steady flow of lumber to planer feed table. The rate of pay for this position is $26.28 per hour. Daily Job Duties: Operate console and foot pedal to keep lumber straight and flat. Using a pike pole remove any stacking sticks or cross-outs that do not fall onto the belt. Keep hang ups clear from stick belt under tilt hoist. Follow all applicable safety rules. Work regularly scheduled shifts. Work scheduled overtime – as required. Clean up during down time with air wand, rake, or shovel. Works in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to work any shift (Days, Nights, Weekends).
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Self-motivated, hard worker
- Must be a safety-oriented individual.
