TikTok Live Host & Actor
About The Position
RYSE is seeking engaging, on-camera hosts and actors to join their live commerce team on TikTok. The role involves hosting daily live shopping streams from their studio, demonstrating RYSE smart home products, answering viewer questions in real-time, and driving engagement and sales. Additionally, hosts will film social media content such as TikToks, Instagram Reels, and short/long-form videos. The hiring process includes a paid, in-studio tryout session, after which selected hosts will join a rotating weekly schedule to cover daily live slots. RYSE designs smart home products and automated window covering technology.
Requirements
- Prior experience in acting, live streaming, hosting, or on-camera presenting (social media content, TikTok Live, QVC-style commerce, or similar preferred)
- Comfortable speaking on camera for extended periods with high energy
- Strong communication skills and quick thinking to handle live audience questions
- Reliable and punctual; able to commit to a consistent rotating schedule
- Familiarity with TikTok's platform, trends, and live shopping features
Nice To Haves
- Interest in home tech, smart home, or DIY products is a plus
Responsibilities
- Host TikTok Live sessions from our studio, showcasing RYSE smart shades and accessories
- Demonstrate product features and installation in an engaging, easy-to-follow way
- Interact with live viewers, answer questions, and respond to comments in real time
- Drive viewer engagement through energy, storytelling, and calls to action
- Maintain a clean, on-brand studio setup and follow content guidelines
- Act in social media content including TikToks, Instagram Reels, YouTube
