About The Position
We are looking for a skilled and certified TIG Welder to fabricate, weld, and polish light fixture parts with attention to detail for a high-quality finished product. This is a second shift position, working 4 days per week, Monday to Thursday, with 10-hour days.
Requirements
- Welding certification.
- Experience TIG welding on thin gauge aluminum.
- Must be able to pass a company welding test.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and engineering drawings/shop drawings.
Responsibilities
- Perform seamless welding of products to a high quality and standard utilizing skills in TIG welding of thin gauge aluminum.
- Prepare, deburr, polish, and set up welding jobs.
- Pay attention to details, fit, and finish to ensure a high-quality finished product.
- Be dependable, follow instructions, and solicit feedback.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area with tools in good working order.
- Respect company resources: raw materials, tools, and equipment.
- Willing to help around the machine shop as needed based on workload.
