About The Position

TIG Welder 2 assembles and welds parts as directed, reads prints to ensure proper welds, maintains proper dimensions for each unit, fabricates parts to specifications, and follows directions. The role also directs others in proper part assembly and identifies required parts.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of TIG welding experience.
• At least 1 year of forklift experience and ability to use a forklift properly.
• Ability to train and supervise others.
• Ability to air-check tubes and make necessary repairs.
• Knowledge of tube inspection and building ski lockers, pops, and center tubes.
• Knowledge of part fabrication and air-checking tools.
• Knowledge of lift-eye flange placement for tubes of different diameters.
• Ability to run a bead on materials of different thicknesses.
• Knowledge of air and hand tools, including screw guns, drills, grinders, sanders, and band saws.
• Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Ability to communicate well with others.
• Ability to be cross-trained.
