About The Position
The TIG Welder 2 is responsible for assembling and welding parts as directed, reading prints to ensure proper welds, holding proper dimensions for each unit, fabricating parts to specifications, and following directions. This role also involves directing others in the proper assembly of parts and identifying required parts.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of TIG welding experience
- At least 1 year of forklift experience
- Ability to work inside without air conditioning
- Ability to stand and walk around all day
- Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and bending
- Ability to lift and handle up to 50 pounds of material
- Must be able to read blue prints and a tape measure efficiently

Responsibilities
- Assemble and weld parts as directed
- Read prints to ensure proper welds
- Hold proper dimensions for each unit
- Fabricate parts to specifications

- Train and supervise others
- Air check tubes and make necessary repairs
- Work tube inspection
- Build ski lockers, pops, and center tubes
- Perform fabrication of parts and air checking
- Know where to put lift eye flanges for different diameter tubes
- Run bead on different material thickness
- Use air and hand tools such as screw guns, drills, grinders, sanders, and band saws
- Read blueprints and a tape measure efficiently
