About The Position
Apache Workforce is seeking experienced Aluminum Welders to support the fabrication and manufacturing of industrial equipment for leading manufacturing partners. This role is responsible for performing high-quality aluminum welds, interpreting blueprints, preparing materials, and ensuring finished products meet customer specifications and quality standards. Candidates should have extensive experience with TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) aluminum welding in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of aluminum welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong experience with TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols
- Successful completion of an internal welding test prior to placement
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced production environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- High School Diploma or GED required
Nice To Haves
- AWS (American Welding Society) Certification or equivalent
- Experience with robotic welding systems
- Knowledge of advanced aluminum welding techniques and materials
- Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial fabrication
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Performing aluminum welding using TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) processes
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols
- Preparing materials by cleaning, cutting, fitting, and positioning components before welding
- Inspecting completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications
- Operating and maintaining welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Repairing damaged aluminum components and fabricated structures
- Grinding, finishing, and preparing welds as needed
- Following OSHA regulations and company safety policies
- Working closely with fabricators, fitters, and production teams to meet production schedules
- Maintaining clean and organized work areas while following 5S principles
- Performing additional duties as assigned
