TIG & Laser Welder

About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Tig Welder to join our team on our 1st shift Mon - Fri 6AM - 3:30PM and Saturdays as needed from 6AM - 12:30PM. As a Tig & Laser Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components according to specifications. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication
- Strong ability to assemble and build metal structures
- Familiarity with pipe threading processes
- Competence in laser welding
- Proficiency in Tig welding techniques, preferably sanitary welding
- Laser Welding: 1 year (Required)
- TIG welding: 5 years (Required)
Responsibilities
- Perform Tig and laser welding on various metal components, preferably with a background in sanitary welding
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and fabricate metal structures
- Operate plasma cutting equipment for metal preparation
- Conduct pipe threading and stick welding as needed
- Inspect welded joints for quality and make necessary repairs
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
