About The Position

Nashville Toyota North is seeking a full-time Tier One IT Technician to join their team in Nashville, TN. This role is crucial for ensuring the dealership's technology infrastructure runs smoothly. The technician will support dealership staff with various IT needs, troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, and contribute to operational efficiency. The position involves hands-on work with network equipment, security cameras, and cabling, as well as collaboration with other IT teams and management.

Requirements

Experience installing and maintaining open lot Wi-Fi networks
Experience with IP-networked security cameras and pulling and installing CAT 6 cabling
Experience with the installation of POE security cameras with server integration
Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
Ability and desire to provide excellent customer service to internal customers
Working knowledge of operating systems and applications
Ability to work independently, on-site, and in a dynamic environment

Nice To Haves

Automotive software experience is a plus.
A bachelor's degree in IT, engineering, computer science, or a related field is also a plus.

Responsibilities

Support dealership staff with software, hardware, and network needs.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to connectivity, devices, and applications.
Communicate closely with store and location managers to address IT needs and ensure uninterrupted operations.
Resolve network switch issues.
Manage open lot Wi-Fi networks.
Install POE security cameras.
Handle CAT 6 cabling installs.
Support IP-networked security cameras.
Coordinate with infrastructure, database, and development teams.
Clearly communicate plans, progress, and issues.
Actively contribute to ongoing process improvement.
Take on additional duties or special IT projects as needed.
