  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, plus at least 5 years of relevant experience; alternatively, 4 additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting production containerized workloads using Kubernetes or a Kubernetes-based platform.
  • Experience supporting at least one major cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or a government cloud region) and hybrid cloud or on-premises infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of infrastructure as code technologies, including Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting ability across Linux systems, networking technologies (DNS, routing, load balancing, and firewalls), and identity and access management.
  • Experience supporting production systems under defined service levels, including incident and problem management.
  • DoD 8140 / 8570 IAT Level II certification, such as Security+ CE, or ability to obtain the required certification within the established timeframe.

  • Experience supporting Risk Management Framework authorization activities or continuous Authority to Operate (cATO).
  • Kubernetes certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or CKS, and/or a cloud professional certification.
  • Prior experience supporting Intelligence Community or Department of Defense mission programs.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and sustain containerized workloads, including application deployments, configuration management, and platform updates.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, or similar automation technologies.
  • Support development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for secure, repeatable platform deployments.
  • Implement and maintain platform security configurations, including identity-aware access, network segmentation, and least-privilege controls.
  • Assist with onboarding mission tenants, applications, and shared services onto the enterprise platform.
  • Monitor platform health, availability, and performance using logging, metrics, alerting, and dashboard technologies.
