About The Position

This role is responsible for providing essential technical support, including system audits for NIST compliance, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining computer systems. The position requires the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment, analyze computers for malware, build and repair hardware, and ensure all software is up-to-date.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • General computer knowledge
  • Windows operating systems, and Microsoft office: Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Must be able to work with moderate supervision and use independent judgment at times.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong PC skills in a windows environment
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by U.S. law (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or temporary resident granted amnesty) due to ITAR, EAR, and other export compliance laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Update documentation
  • Audit logs and systems for NIST compliance
  • Perform NIST required audits
  • Update records and links as necessary
  • Troubleshoot problems with computer systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software, email, network, and peripheral equipment problems; make repairs and corrections where required.
  • Analyze computers for malware
  • Build new and fix old computer hardware
  • Ensure all software is up to date
  • Install new software or updates
