About The Position

This role involves supporting various departments within Athletics by processing ticket orders, handling customer interactions, and assisting with event logistics. The position requires strict adherence to university policies and a commitment to fostering the university's mission.

Requirements

  • Must be able to perform well under stress and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Must be able to stand for hours at a time at both indoor and outdoor events.
  • Availability including nights, weekends, and university breaks.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to understand, speak, and write English.
  • Possess public communication skills for professional representation.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Computer and scheduling skills.
  • Ability to reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment to solve problems.
  • Ability to travel to local and campus locations.
  • Regularly required to hear and speak.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and climb stairs.
  • Handle materials, reach overhead, kneel or stoop.
  • Regularly lift 10 or fewer pounds.

  • Cash handling and/or sales experience.
  • Customer service experience via in-person and over the phone.

Responsibilities

  • Process ticket orders using ticket software and equipment.
  • Handle cash handling and settlement.
  • Perform event set-up and breakdown.
  • Conduct ticket taking/scanning at events.
  • Run office errands for the department.
  • Interact extensively with customers via verbal and written communication.
  • Adhere strictly to Liberty University policies and represent the University in an exemplary manner.
  • Work effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’s mission.
