About The Position
The Ticket Buyer purchases tickets at live-event venue box offices in the Bronx, NY, using purchase orders received through a smartphone app and a company-provided credit card. After each purchase, the buyer enters detailed information in the app and ships the tickets to the company. The role offers commission on each ticket purchase, paid weekly by direct deposit after the tickets are received; there is no base pay. The schedule is flexible, with work generally available about two days per week for one to four hours per day, during venue box office hours that vary, generally between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. No experience is necessary.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be eligible to work in the United States.
- Be physically able to drive, ride, or walk to venues to buy tickets.
- Have a smartphone to view order requests and enter detailed purchase information.
- Be able to work approximately two days per week, one to four hours per day, generally between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.; venue box office hours vary.
- Be able to communicate through SMS.
- Be accurate, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
- Be trustworthy, reliable, and engaging.
- Have good verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a rideshare or delivery driver, shopper, courier, or in other gig-type work may be a good fit; no experience is necessary.
