Requirements

Must be eighteen years of age
Agrees with Cascade Christian Schools’ Statement of Faith and Teaching Statements
Have a background clearance
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Have a food worker card, if applicable
Willing to complete HIV/AIDS training and annual blood borne pathogens training
Attend an agency orientation.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors; can be subjected to inclement weather
Ability to lift 30 lbs, hike, swim, climb stairs
Accept supervision and guidance from supervisors and administrators
Perform all expected duties in a professional manner

Responsibilities

Provide children with a developmentally appropriate program that meets the spiritual, emotional, physical, intellectual and social needs of the children
Implement activities from curriculum, manage supplies, set up and prep work of materials and program space
Teach and actively engage students in each activity
Ensure the safety of children and staff at all times
Provide a warm, clean and loving atmosphere
Assist with and actively participate in all areas of the THRIVE program
Willingness to work between the McAlder, Puyallup, and Frederickson locations
