About The Position
One Vision Thrift Solutions is looking for a Part-Time Thrift Store Team Member to join their team in Clear Lake. This role supports the mission of One Vision by helping create a positive shopping and donation experience. The Thrift Stores play an important role in supporting One Vision services, making this a great opportunity to combine retail and customer service experience with meaningful work in your community.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of retail or customer service experience.
- An understanding of retail pricing and basic cash-handling practices.
- Enjoys working with customers and being part of a team.
- Can frequently kneel, reach, walk, carry, and lift large or bulky items.
- Has a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Can successfully complete required pre-employment screenings.
Responsibilities
- Providing friendly and helpful customer service.
- Accepting donations from members of the community.
- Sorting, processing, and pricing donated merchandise.
- Stocking merchandise and maintaining product flow from the backroom to the sales floor.
- Operating the cash register and accurately handling transactions.
- Helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
- Assisting with moving, lifting, and organizing donated merchandise as needed.
