Under the supervision of the Thrift Store Manager, the Lead Pricer is responsible for the inspection, pricing, and overall rate of production of goods by the crew. This role operates under the core work principle of Colossians 3:23, emphasizing working with all heart as though working for the Lord. The goal is to maintain a humble heart, a mindset of serving others with kindness and truth, and a zealous desire for achieving work objectives without ulterior motives. The position involves warehouse duties such as palletizing, loading/unloading merchandise, and operating a pallet jack. Social media understanding is also required for customer and volunteer communication and basic graphic design. The Lead Pricer will inspect and price goods, assist management with overseeing the production crew, open and close the production area, check the sales floor, assist sorters and staff, record production numbers, and aid management with merchandising, inventory control, and staff training. Communication with management about store issues, active customer engagement to meet revenue goals, providing excellent customer service, assisting with repeat business promotion, and ensuring proper training for employees and volunteers are key responsibilities. The role also involves ensuring physical maintenance, cleanliness, and attractive store displays, enforcing safety and cleanliness policies, and conducting other tasks as assigned.
