About The Position
As Gonzales Thrift Store Manager, you’ll guide a mission-centered retail operation that funds St. Vincent de Paul’s charitable work while delivering a welcoming, efficient shopping and donation experience. You’ll be accountable for store performance, operational discipline, and a team culture rooted in service.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- 5+ years of retail management/supervisory experience (equivalent experience considered)
- Valid driver’s license
- Working knowledge of POS systems, Microsoft Office, and Google apps; strong math and data-entry skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (and 50+ lbs with assistance) and work weekends/holidays as needed
Responsibilities
- Direct daily store operations, sales execution, merchandising, and inventory controls
- Coach, schedule, and develop employees and volunteers; set clear expectations and follow through on performance
- Uphold customer service standards and support local marketing efforts to grow revenue and reach
- Maintain strong store presentation, safety, cash handling, and compliance with established procedures
