About The Position

Our associates at Red, White, and Blue Thrift perform a range of tasks and processes essential to our retail operations. These positions require attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The roles are full-time, and medical benefits become available after 90 days of employment. Brief descriptions of our positions can be found below. Our Facilities Associates may be assigned to the following tasks: Unloading and loading trailers, operating a trash compactor, operating a baling machine, and janitorial duties. The Facilities Associate position is labor intensive. Our Production Associates may be assigned to the following tasks: Pre-sorting donations, sorting, pricing, hanging, tagging, attaching sensors, and distributing merchandise to the floor. Our Sales Floor Associates may be assigned to the following roles: Cashier, Sales Floor, and Donation Center Attendant. Other available positions include: Box Truck Driver, Dispatcher, and Supervisor.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to Safely Perform Job Functions
Ability to lift and carry up to 40-70 lbs
Ability to exert up to 25 lbs. of force frequently
Ability to constantly apply negligible force when handling objects
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Proficient in performing repetitive motions
Skilled in tasks involving seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand or hands
Capable of maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces
Ability to maintain balance when performing agile tasks
Possesses clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and 20 feet or more
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and busy environment
Ability to work effectively in a noisy environment
Ability to work effectively in a bright environment
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
High degree of flexibility; may be asked to switch tasks or departments
