About The Position

Kido is seeking a passionate Assistant Teacher to create meaningful learning experiences for three-year-old children. The role uses Kido’s curriculum and the teacher’s creativity to plan hands-on activities, provide individualized care and classroom management in a nurturing environment, and foster children’s social, emotional, and academic growth. The teacher communicates with children’s families and collaborates with the teaching team to maintain a positive, inclusive classroom. The successful candidate is expected to undergo an enhanced fingerprint-based background check.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience teaching in a licensed preschool.
• At least 18 years old.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, including reading, writing, and speaking.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
• CDA certification and 5–10 years of experience in a licensed childcare setting.
• 2–3 years of experience in a Montessori program.
