About The Position

This role involves performing various inspection techniques, including but not limited to visual inspection, magnetic particle inspection, liquid penetrant testing, electromagnetic inspection, and ultrasonics inspection. The Thread Inspector is responsible for ensuring quality standards are met by following customer specifications, industry recommended practices, and company procedures. Safety is paramount, and all assignments must be performed in a safe manner following standard operating procedures. The position also involves developing, monitoring, and maintaining critical control points for process and product quality, setting up and calibrating equipment, and communicating pertinent information to supervisors. Quality checks are performed throughout production runs, and any interruptions or irregularities must be reported. Adherence to Company HSE and QMS policies and procedures is mandatory, along with accurate reporting and completion of other assigned duties.

  • Willing to work overtimes, weekends and some holidays as needed.

  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; primarily Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Follow customer specifications, industry recommended practices, and company procedures to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Perform all assignments, duties and tasks in a safe manner while following standard operating procedures.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain critical control points to ensure excellent process and product quality.
  • Set up and calibrate equipment according to work order.
  • Communicate and coordinate all pertinent information to appropriate Supervisor/ Manager to ensure effective and safe operations.
  • Performing quality checks throughout production runs.
  • Inform the Supervisor/Manager or designee of any interruptions or irregularities in the production line.
  • Follow all Company HSE, QMS policies and procedures and report to the appropriate personnel of any violations of these policies or procedures.
  • Accurately create and maintain inspection and production reports as required.
  • Perform other various job duties that may be required by the Supervisor/ Manager or their designee.
