About The Position

As a Third-Party Procurement & Sourcing Senior Manager, you’ll partner with business lines, third parties, Third-Party Risk & Controls, IT Business Operations, Legal, and other stakeholders to support Procurement & Sourcing enterprise framework design and enhancement as well support implementation of new processes as needed. In execution, you will be responsible for certain non-IT categories and develop and manage a Contingent Worker program. Design, develop, deploy, and manage Procurement processes to ensure that all goods and services are acquired at the best possible price and quality. Lead best in class Category Management in pursuit of developing comprehensive sourcing strategies to support business unit and enterprise objectives. Elevate our strategic sourcing capabilities through competitive sourcing, market analysis, negotiations, cost management, contract management, and supplier relationship management. Craft and execute a comprehensive sourcing strategy grounded in meticulous analysis of spend data, market trends, category insights, and business needs. Negotiate contracts within the designated spend categories and complex deals with sellers to promote maximum value capture. Conduct and assess detailed supplier evaluations, determine supplier viability, and manage supplier relationship which include commercial, contract, and operational performance. Monitor and analyze market trends and stay up to date with industry trends and best practices. Promote cooperation and communication between internal stakeholders, across participating departments. Work closely with suppliers and internal partners to manage and enhance supplier performance and facilitate continuous improvement and innovation. Demonstrate critical thinking skills with high learning agility and the capability to outline a direction and drive towards the outcomes.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in supplier management, supply chain, or contracts.
  • 5+ years of experience in category management or strategic sourcing.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • Advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards, and practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Advanced experience managing multiple concurrent projects and delivering assignments to completion in accordance with defined instructions, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
