About The Position

Join our vibrant and expanding team at SinglePoint as a Collections Representative. We pride ourselves on fostering a dynamic work environment where dedication is rewarded and growth opportunities abound. We have a permanent full-time opportunity and the schedule we are currently hiring is 5 days a week: Monday through Friday between 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Successful candidates will undergo comprehensive onsite training for up to 2 - 3 months at our Toronto office at 255 Consumers Road, Toronto, ON, M2J 1R3.

Requirements

Minimum 1 or 2 years of commercial collections experience preferred.
Experience collecting on freight, transportation, logistics, B2B, or commercial accounts considered a strong asset.
Proven ability to negotiate payment arrangements and resolve disputes.
Experience working with aging reports, account reconciliations, and statement reviews.
Knowledge of commercial credit and collections practices.
Manage and collect on a portfolio of commercial accounts with varying delinquency levels.
Strong computer operating and data entry skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of commercial transportation and freight accounts across Canada.
Investigate and resolve payment disputes, POD (Proof of Delivery) issues, billing discrepancies, and customer service concerns.
Work directly with Accounts Payable departments, Controllers, Owners, and Senior Management to secure payment.
Review customer aging reports and prioritize collection activities based on risk and recovery potential.
Recommend accounts for legal action, credit holds, or escalation when appropriate.
Build professional relationships with customers while protecting the client's interests.
