Fleet Response is seeking qualified candidates to work virtually or at their corporate office for the position of Claims Specialist. This role typically assists with managing 3rd party claims, including repair and rental management, and claimant and client communication. Requirements

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write and interpret reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from department, company, groups of managers, clients, and customers.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Ability to use computer to access e-mail and the internet.
  • Basic skills in Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain insurance/adjuster licensing as required in all states.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or a minimum two to four years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior automotive, fleet management, claims management, or vehicle re-marketing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the 3rd party Senior Claim Representatives with facilitating different aspects of 3rd party claim management.
  • Manages communication with customers and clients.
  • Communicates with repair facilities regarding repairs.
  • Processes shop invoices for payment or payments being sent directly to customers.
  • Sets up rental reservations and follows up on existing open rentals.
  • Works with Senior Claims Specialists, Claims Supervisor, and Claims Manager to ensure client and customer parameters and expectations are consistently met by the team.
  • Answers claim calls and questions from clients, leadership, and office staff.
  • Enters documentation including claim notes, estimates, photos, and correspondence into the claims management system.
  • Coordinates and processes outgoing mail for the 3rd party claims team.
  • Manages the rental reservation and rental process within specific claims in accordance with client parameters and customer needs.
  • Secures documentation on repairs and actively manages the repair process for clients and customers.
  • Coordinates and balances workload within a defined sub-team.
  • Effectively communicates with clients, peers, and leadership through written, verbal, and in-person means.
  • Performs other additional duties and responsibilities as requested by Claims Supervisor and/or Claims Manager.
