About The Position
These position will be specialized around any knife skill; a whizard knife and straight knife scissors working safely and adhering to Tyson’s policies and procedures. This position may require bending, stoop, twist, reach above, reach across, use repetitive motion, carry up to 50 pounds and be able to stand for a minimum of 9 hours daily. This position will be exposed on a routine basis to adverse temperatures (cold) 20-40° F, damp and wet. This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only. Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.
Requirements
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach above, reach across, use repetitive motion.
- Ability to carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for a minimum of 9 hours daily.
- Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Must be a current team member at this facility or complex.
