About The Position

This position is responsible for removing cartilage, bones, bruises, and blood spots from the boneless thigh. This position will rotate throughout the line. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and ability required to perform all essential functions and related tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation, with limited supervision. Applicant must be willing to perform the following: - Visually inspect thigh meat for bones, cartilage, bruises, and blood spots - Remove bones from the thigh per protocol established by management - Place the inspected thigh on a moving conveyor - To do repetitive motions with the hands and shoulders to perform the job tasks daily as needed, grip, use, and hold an electric knife - Stand approximately 48 1/2 inches from the floor as needed, stand for entire shift, work flexible hours including weekends if necessary, and work a cold, wet, dry, and slippery work environment - Any other duties as assigned by Manager. We accept rehires if you have not worked for Tyson in the past 6 months (180 days), candidates who have worked for Tyson 3 times, will not be eligible. Sponsorship is not offered for this position and applicant must reside in the United States. Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
